Pre-Alpha Test [Jan 23]
The following only represents significant and not all changes in this test. As a reminder, during pre-alpha both small and large changes will occur without warning to facilitate rapid development and experimentation.
Changes
- Balance changes
- Keeps and Town Forts can no longer catch on fire and be scorched
- Sawbuck cost reduced to 3x Branches
- Animal attack damage is now 90% mitigated against vehicles like Carts, Handcarts, Battering Rams, etc (but not Horses)
- Experimental changes to combat and stamina
- Turning while sprinting consumes significantly more stamina
- Sprinting is faster in general
- Player can now move when attacking (instead of being locked in place)
- Basic resources like Branches, Flint, and Berry Bushes spawn are more evenly distributed, making it easier for new players
- Cave entrance distribution in the overworld is more even
- Cave entrances no longer spawn on steep cliffs
Bug Fixes
- Server randomly permanently stalls
