A Player is a human-controlled character who is a member of an alliance.
Attributes
Players have various attributes that need to be managed.
Health
Players have a maximum of 100 health, which is capped by their hunger level. Damage from animals or other players reduces health. Eating food is the only way to restore health. If health reaches zero, the player dies.
Hunger
Players should regularly eat food to maintain their food level and avoid health and stamina penalties. By default, food decreases by 2.5% per minute, slowing to 0.5% per minute in the final 25% of the bar, significantly delaying death from starvation. Death from full food occurs after 1 Hour, 20 Minutes. Eating food reduces hunger, restores a percentage of maximum health and stamina, and provides health regeneration over time, which can be crucial in combat depending on the food consumed. Health regeneration per second from multiple foods do not stack.
Food Types
Players can consume food of the same type every 5 Minutes. With the icons displayed on the HUD after eating showing the active cooldown for that food type.
| Icon | Food Type |

Stamina
Stamina decreases depending on player actions such as using tools and weapons, 15% per second while sprinting, 1% per second while swimming, or 20% while climbing. Stamina is capped by hunger. After consuming stamina, a 3 Seconds cooldown begins. Stamina then starts regenerating at 2.65% per second, with movement reducing regeneration rate.
Rested buff
Players can eat in the Tavern
with other players to gain the rested buff, which temporarily increases stamina regeneration rate.
| Buff Tier | Required Players | Buff Duration |
|---|---|---|
| 2 | 5 Minutes | |
| 3 | 10 Minutes | |
| 5 | 30 Minutes |
Temperature
During winter, players start to take 6.5% damage per minute if they're away from a heat source or not covered by a structure roof for an extended period.
Stability
Stability functions as a shield bar when a player equips a shield, with all stationary players having a 33% stability cap by default. Moving reduces stability to a minimum of 0%, while holding
increases the stability cap to 66%. Being pushed by other players holding
increases the stability cap, and forming a shield wall reduces stability damage taken.
Movement
A player's movement speed is determined by several factors, including their equipped weapon and chosen attack, whether they are sprinting, swimming, or in Combat Stance, and the type of surface they are moving on such as roads
. By default, players jog at 5.25 m/s and can sprint up to 10.5 m/s without surface modifiers. With Swimming speed at 3 m/s.
