Pre-Alpha Major Test Dev-Branch Dec 8 - Key Changes

We will be running a Dev Branch today ahead of the upcoming Major Test on Dec 15. The following only represents significant and not all changes in the build this afternoon. As a reminder, during pre-alpha both small and large changes will occur without warning to facilitate rapid development and experimentation.

Changes

  • Unstuck cooldown reduced by 50%
  • When using a Wagon and interacting with a structure, the inventory of the Wagon is now used for transfer instead of the Horse
  • Wolves that attack Settlements now have distinct visuals (their Fur is darker) and do not drop resources
  • Build restriction distance when enemies are nearby increased by 50%
  • Enemy structures within your Settlement's build area can now be dismantled (if no enemies are nearby)
  • Beacon Tower cost changed from Branches to Wood Planks
  • Beacon Tower fuel consumption increased by 100%
  • Pantry can now be built inside Houses and Modular Houses
  • Reinforcement Supplies can now be produced using Wheat or Cabbage as well
  • Barrels can now unpack into Resource Stockpiles
  • Town Centers and Camps now start with 250 Labourer Supplies
  • All Bear types drop Animal Bones
  • Donkey Pack Saddle inventory size increased to 6 (and stack size increased to 30) but is no longer able to hold large items
  • Horse Basic Saddle inventory size increased to 3 (and stack size increased to 30) but is no longer able to hold large items
  • Call for Reinforcements button now requires at least 10 unclaimed Tents to be built
  • Settlements/Camps that are under attack or calling for Reinforcements are now labelled as such and are always visible on the map regardless of zoom level
  • Call for Reinforcements / Under Attack alert text updated to be more clear on what happens when you click the accept button

Bug Fixes

  • Carts & Wagons can stack large items
  • Repair Station has Homestead flag on it when it's not a Homestead structure
  • Small Camps show "Call for Reinforcements" button
  • Error that caused players to not be able to reconnect after crashing

Added

  • Added Stone Mallet early game two handed shield breaking weapon.

Changed

  • Assembly Station cost changed from 3 Animal Fat, 5 Wood Planks to 3 Wood Planks.
  • Quenching Station cost changed from 3 Animal Fat, 5 Wood Planks, 1 Iron Ingots to 3 Wood Planks.
  • Flint Pickaxe removed from blacksmith and added as crafting to the Workbench.
  • Fixed item stacking in Settlement Center.
  • Fixed no cost requirements for Settlement Center tier 3.
  • Player inventory from 8 to 10 slots.

  • Beacon Tower now requires a Hammer to build.
  • Beacon Tower cost changed from 3 Branches to 1 Branches and 2 Wood Planks.
  • Gathering pit, Village hall and Town Hall have been renamed to Settlement Center.
  • Bear now drop 5 Animal Bones on Death.
  • Bear (Elite) now drop 5 Animal Bones on Death.
  • Bear Den Silver 100% silver drop amount from 63 to 100.
  • Bear Den Silver 50% silver drop amount from 7 to 25.
  • Bear Den (Elite) Silver 100% silver drop amount from 75 to 125.
  • Bear Den (Elite) Silver 50% silver drop amount from 25 to 34.
  • Wolf Den Silver 100% silver drop amount from 15 to 25.
  • Wolf Den Silver 50% silver drop amount from 7 to 12.
  • Wolf Den (Elite) Silver 100% silver drop amount from 26 to 35.
  • Wolf Den (Elite) Silver 50% silver drop amount from 13 to 17.
  • Berry Bush, Branch Pile, Flint Pile drop chance removed for 1 silver.
  • Flint Hammer Wood Planks cost dropped from 3 to 2.
  • Donkey Pack Saddle inventory slots from 3 to 6, and stack from 10 to 30, prohibiting Large Items.
  • Basic Saddle inventory slots from 1 to 3, and stack from 10 to 30, prohibiting Large Items.
  • Barrels can now unpack into Resource Stockpile.
