Dropped Items
When a Player drops most items on the ground, the game creates a temporary item stash bag for holding them. If another item is dropped nearby the item is stored inside it, if its further away a new bag is created.
Players can interact with it like with any other storage by pressing E. Every type of item stacks inside the bags. The bags despawn after a while following certain conditions.
The bag isn't solid and doesn't block movement, but it can prevent structure placement when building.
Lifespan
The bag is temporary and automatically disappears after some time. The lifespan of the bag depends on a few criterias:
- If the bag is empty it will disappear after 10 seconds.
- If the bag contains any other type of item it will disappear after 7 Minutes, 30 Seconds.
Other Items
There are a number of items including all Large Items that have their own models when dropped on the ground, with each drop time changing per item.
