Lost Bread

Bread soaked in eggs then fried. Moderate Satiation.

Take a thick ear of day old bread and soak it in a bowl of beaten eggs until sodden. Put it into a baking pan with a bit of fat, then pour extra eggs over top; put it on the coal and cover. Cook until done. Add spices if you have them.
